Job Title:  Business Valuation Manager

Job Description:

WSRP Advisory, LLC specializes in conducting business valuations for various purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, ownership succession, wealth transfers, gift and estate taxes, charitable contributions, and litigation support. The Business Valuation Manager is integral to this process, engaging with clients to define the assignment’s purpose and scope, and employing diverse business valuation approaches. This role requires a deep understanding of the interplay between business valuation, financial reporting, and tax implications. The manager is responsible for identifying potential valuation issues, communicating risks to clients, and actively participating in marketing, networking, and business development within this specialized field.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage fluctuating work hours based on client needs and deadlines
  • Oversee all valuation operations, ensuring timely completion and compliance with relevant standards
  • Interact with and build relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with firm professionals to gather client financial data for valuations
  • Expand knowledge in different areas of business valuation theory in order to better serve clients
  • Assist in the planning and determining the purpose of the business valuation
  • Conduct company research and industry analysis
  • Undertake comparable company and transaction analyses
  • Building DCF models and developing CAPMs and WACCs
  • Assessing and monitoring financial market databases
  • Draft business valuation reports, including independent expert reports
  • All other tasks as assigned

What You Will Bring:

  • 2-6 years of direct experience in business valuation
  • Proficiency in financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with BV database tools
  • Knowledge of software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Analytical skills with close attention to details
  • Ability to meet deadlines and find solutions to problems


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA, ABV, CVA, and/or ASA certification is a plus
