I am so grateful that I found WSRP! I started with WSRP right out of my undergrad and it has been the best place for me to get started in public accounting. I love that I have been able to work directly with multiple different Partners and Managers. They feel genuinely invested in my growth and development, and working with them has helped me improve my understanding of different audit areas and of different industries and set me up for future success.

WSRP stood out to me because it gave me the opportunity to work on several different projects so I could find what I like to do the most. I didn’t get locked into doing one kind of tax return whether I liked it or not. The managers are willing to take the time to teach me new things and have the knowledge required to do so. Working for WSRP has improved my skills and enables me to grow both as an IT Manager and as an employee.  Every day I come into the office I am faced with new and interesting challenges.  These can range from asset management, networking, security, as well as general help desk questions.  Some days you can find me crawling under desks to fix equipment, other times I will be in a meeting with partners enacting changes in policy.

I am grateful for the opportunity to grow in this role having recently accepted a position as the IT manager.  It’s refreshing to see a company recognize my potential and encourage the growth of me as a professional.

I came to WSRP wanting the challenge and growth that comes from a career in public accounting. WSRP has certainly given me the opportunity to serve many clients of all sizes and industries over the years, and I have learned so much here.  But if that were all, I would not have lasted as long as I have. WSRP is a firm that cares about its people and their well-being.  We work hard to serve our clients and to meet their deadlines and needs, but we also need a certain amount of work/life balance to survive, recharge, and thrive.  As an example, one of the many things WSRP does as part of addressing that need is to offer unlimited PTO outside of busy season. WSRP is a place where people can stick around and grow for a long time and that is what the firm wants to be.  We have great people, great clients, and I have had a phenomenal experience here at WSRP.
