The core position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, directing and controlling the client engagement process to successful completion
  • Supervising and reviewing work by staff
  • Interacting with the Partners on client and team matters
  • Identifying issues and recommending solutions to improve efficiency
  • Serving as a liaison between clients, staff and Partners
  • Developing staff through effectively delegating tasks, training and providing guidance
  • Executing the day-to-day activities in the completion of accounting engagements
  • Coaching and developing staff’s understanding of GAAP and the general business world
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with staff and clients
  • Monitoring CPE requirements and initiating specialized training for staff as needed
  • Fostering an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
  • Pursuing opportunities to provide additional services
  • Following business development leads and retaining clients
  • Assisting in the creation of proposals and other new business development efforts



Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA certification required

Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience

Controller experience

Staff supervision, staff training, tax preparation and/or review experience are a plus
